Our award winning hospital houses Neurology, Orthopaedic, Soft Tissue, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Out of Hours and Rehabilitation teams. Practice facilities include a dedicated ICU ward for critical patients staffed 24 hours a day, in-house MRI & CT, 4 operating theatres, endoscopy and ultra-sound facilities and dedicated patient wards.  As a Patient Care Assistant you will primarily be working alongside our experienced referral Veterinary Nurses, assisting them with cleaning, patient care, preparation of kit, exercising and feeding our patients. 

 Applicants must be willing to commit to a working rota that includes days, nights, weekends and bank holidays all as standard. Previous experience of working with animals in a veterinary setting or similar is preferred, but not essential.  A Maths and English qualification at GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent) is essential.

Due to our location and the working hours, applicants would benefit from being able to drive and having access to a car.
