With ongoing growth and success based on an outstanding reputation and a commitment to clinical excellence, Wear Referrals, part of the Linnaeus family, are looking to recruit a board-certified or board-eligible small animal veterinary diagnostic imager.

Wear Referrals are a multidisciplinary hospital including specialists in neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and anaesthesia, as well as a cardiology service, out-of- hours emergency service and in-house physiotherapy and hydrotherapy teams.

The hospital facilities include a dedicated ICU staffed 24 hours a day, spacious well-designed wards with many walk in kennels, in-house 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Essenza MRI, 16 slice Siemens Somatom Emotion helical CT, digital radiography, digital fluoroscopy and a Samsung RS85 ultrasound system. In addition to a dedicated ultrasound room, and CT/MRI control room we have a separate purpose-designed radiology reading room.

The successful applicant will join a growing team of referral specialists and clinicians and will have support from our large nursing team, supported by extensive on-site support including client care, finance and HR.  We encourage an evidence-based multi-disciplinary approach, supporting a process of continuous learning and a collegiate atmosphere.  We have an active internship programme and are expanding our residency programmes.  Our extensive clinical caseload will provide an interesting variety of cases and clinical research is actively encouraged and supported. The Linnaeus group provides superb support and facilitates a highly collaborative approach between their hospitals and colleagues.

Applicants must be highly motivated, proactive and passionate about delivering clinical excellence, with excellent social and clinical skills.  This is ideally a full-time role, however applications are encouraged from both part time and full-time applicants.
