With ongoing growth and success based on an outstanding reputation and a commitment to excellence, Wear Referrals, part of Linnaeus Veterinary Limited, are looking to recruit additional RVNs to join our ever growing nursing team of 62 fully qualified RVNs, 2 Head Nurses and over 20 patient care assistants and nursing students.

Working as a nurse for Wear Referrals entails real nursing to a very high standard in our state of art, award winning Veterinary Hospital just off junction 60 of the A1.

We are a multidisciplinary practice with Neurology, Orthopaedic, Soft Tissue, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Out of Hours and Rehabilitation teams. Practice facilities include a dedicated ICU ward for critical patients staffed 24 hours a day, in-house MRI & CT, 4 operating theatres, endoscopy and ultra-sound facilities and dedicated patient wards. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their own expertise, working with leading surgeons and clinicians.

Excellent social and clinical skills are a must, as well as the ability to commit to a rolling rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous referral nursing experience is preferred, but not essential, as we offer training and support to RVNs joining the practice from primary care.

Wear Referrals provide a competitive salary and CPD allowance, payment of professional registration fees, generous employer contribution pension scheme, professional indemnity cover, health care and purchasing scheme, staff discount, uniform, shoe allowance and free onsite parking. Wear Referrals prides itself on being a leading UK training practice, dedicated to developing talent and promoting from within wherever possible and further study towards a nursing diploma or an equivalent is encouraged.
