Veterinary Surgeon - Emergency and OOH

Liga graduated in 2017 from Latvia University of Agriculture, followed by completion of rotating internship in busy referral centre in North-West of England.

After successful year in referrals, Liga spent 18 months of working in vibrant small animal practice in Scotland and developed passion to Emergency and Critical care. In 2022 Liga successfully completed 12-month long Emergency and Critical Care Internship in Hampshire, South-East of England.

Liga currently works in Wear referrals as Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian, working a mixture of both days and nights. 

In her free time, Liga enjoys naps with her beloved cat Sir Kissinger, especially after nightshifts. Liga also enjoys foraging mushrooms, long walks on the beach and trying out new sushi places.
