Marina Hernández Perelló

Internal Medicine Clinician

Marina graduated in 2018 from the Univesitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. Just after graduating in veterinary medicine, she undertook a three months’ externship in Texas A&M Small Animal Veterinary Hospital, USA. 

Marina moved with her two gorgeous little grey chinchillas to the North East of England in January 2019, where she worked for 2 years in general practice. 

In love with the area, she started a rotating internship at Wear Referrals followed by a specialised internal medicine internship. In 2022, Marina started her specialist training in internal medicine through a three-year internal medicine residency programme at Wear Referrals. 

In her spare time, Marina loves doing a variety of outdoor activities, exploring the county, when the weather permits her to do so, and also travelling.
