The BSAVA has announced the recipients of its 2026 awards, recognising dedicated professionals whose often unseen contributions have helped to advance veterinary science, strengthen clinical practice, support education, and enhance the welfare of small animals across the UK.

Among these outstanding individuals, Ollie’s work stood out for its scientific value, clinical relevance, and contribution to the future of oncology diagnostics.

Ollie received this prestigious award for producing the most valuable Clinical Research Abstract associated with the BSAVA Congress.

Ollie is currently completing a rotating internship at Wear Referrals, where he continues to develop his clinical reasoning and broaden his skills across multiple disciplines within referral small-animal practice.

His dedication to clinical excellence and evidence-based medicine is evident in both his research achievements and his everyday work within the hospital.
