We know Addison's disease, especially Addison's crisis can be very stressful! This CPD is designed to make it clearer, calmer, and far more manageable by helping you understand the disease through practical, case based teaching.

Throughout the session, we’ll work through both typical and atypical presentations, showing you how to recognise the key clinical signs and bloodwork patterns while avoiding the common pitfalls that make Addison’s such a challenge in primary care. Using real cases, we’ll break down the diagnostic approach, demonstrate practical steps for emergency stabilisation, and outline straightforward long term management strategies you can confidently use the very next day.

The goal is simple: to make Addison’s disease easier to spot, easier to treat, and far less intimidating — from first suspicion all the way to long term follow up.

CPD designed for: primary care vets + nurses (nurses can help a lot with emergency stabilisation of the patient)
